Instinct is a weird thing. Nothing makes us feel more in touch with our animal nature than an instinct. Countless lives have been saved by it... and sadly, sometimes our guts deceive us and we make poor choices. Why is it so? No one can give a sure answer, but it is most probably due to clash of our civilized living and our instincts for wild life.
